Living life more mindfully can help you to handle stress when it arises, and also experience life more fully. Mindfulness teaches you ways of being gently aware of the world around you, and your reactions to it, so you can step out of autopilot and make better life choices.

All sessions are led by our Mindfulness teacher Chris Jones, who trained in, and follows the UK Network of Mindfulness Teachers Good Practice Guidelines.
 

Mindfulness Sessions

Our mindfulness sessions are currently funded by The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund.

We run sessions for all levels of experience, from beginners to Mindfulness teachers; no previous horse experience is necessary.

Introduction to Mindfulness with Horses in Nature - 4 week course

This is an ideal introduction to Mindfulness at Sunrise Farm. You'll find out how Mindfulness can benefit you, and take part in some Mindfulness practices in the company of our horses.

For beginners – experience a taste of Mindfulness and find out how it can help you cope with the everyday stresses of modern life

For people who already practice Mindfulness – discover how horses and nature can enrich your Mindfulness practice

All activities with horses have an experienced horseperson present.

Continuation Sessions - monthly session

Continuation sessions are themed sessions that run monthly through the year.   These sessions are for people who have attended our 4 week course, and can help with maintaining a regular  mindfulness practice.

Weekly Mindfulness - Thursday sessions

These sessions are for people who have attended our 4 week course.
